Sometimes I Astonish Myself
My ability to waste time is astounding, even to me. What puzzles me is that I managed to waste time with equal efficiency before the Internet(s) was just a click away, with so much entertainment to offer. I mean research options! Yeah, research. That's what I've been doing!
Well, I have. I had an excuse today to go back and re-read parts of Herodotus. He cracks me up, but what's amazing is how accurate he often was, even in areas that for a long time people assumed he totally made up. But the gold-digging ants -- no one's found those yet, as far as I know.
Right. Back to work.

Happy Birthday, Hope you enjoy it to the fullest!
Love Ya! Mom L

I told eight seminarians, who packed themselves into my Jeep GC for an hour and a half trip wdown the mountain, ALL about you on your birthday. No, they couldn't leave the seminary to go and meet you. Yes, you were married. Yes, you were beautiful. Yes, you spoke their language. Yes, you had the same faith values they lay claim to - mostly. Sorry, I could no longer make deals on your behalf, and "get back to your studies guys".
