Yay For Abstract Costumes
People (TFL and the kids) doubted me, but I know my fellow law students. How could they not love abstract costumes?
We went as War and Peace. TFL was Peace, yes, complete with olive branches. I was a very Che-like War, but cuter. Also, with a better jacket. And perhaps a more low-cut top.
It worked so well, we won the runner-up prize for the costume party! Ha!
It might have been the pity vote. I'll still take it.

Law students really *do* love abstract costumes (maybe because we feel just that superior to everyone else? Heh.)
I went as a "red light district" (all red - and of course, slutty - clothes) and a flashlight covered in a red stocking that I stuck down my cleavage whenever anyone wanted to know who I was. I got the approving, "Oh, clever!" from just about everyone, which made seem like a shame that there was no costume contest at mine. :(
So who won first prize if you two didn't cut the mustard? :)

I was so conventional in being a vampire. I was just glad I didn't trip over my own cape. It was bad enough getting caught in doors with it.
