Broken, Not Sprained
GirlChild's nose seems to be broken after all, not just sprained. The swelling has gone down and it's slanting off to the side a bit.
Now what? Do we find a plastic surgeon, or an Ear Nose & Throat specialist? Any recommendations? I think we need to find someone in the next day or two, while we're still in the "fix it now" window instead of the "wait 3 months" window.
Ugh. Feeling queasy just thinking about it.

Ouch! I'd go with an ENT. Mine does plastics AND regular stuff. I had nasal surgery last year to correct a crooked septum and fix my chronic sinusitus and it was pretty painless.

Next step: Buy a Face Guard!

Any plastic surgeon should know enough about noses to be able to tell you if there's an issue of nasal damage beyond just the slanting and would be able to refer you to an ENT if needed. If it's not needed and this is just about keeping GirlChild's face nice and symmetrical then the plastic surgeon is who you want anyway. I have no recommendations, but Northwestern Hospital system should have excellent ones (to be fair, UC should too, I'm jut mad at them right now).

I would go to the ENT. Plastic surgeon if you were in the 3 month window.
