It's so cold in the library--on the main floor--that you can almost see your breath. On the fourth floor, it's about 95 degrees, but there's no oxygen. So freeze and breathe, or roast and suffocate. Installing an HVAC system in the middle of a midwestern winter is maybe, just maybe, not the greatest of ideas.
Oh, and the car died again.
*grump*
The house is freezing too. I'm stealing all of our extra wool blankets tonight to sleep under. Maybe I'll stop shivering then.

Maybe you want to invest in some electric socks.

Can we all move South? WAAAAY South?

I went online to LL Bean and bought some wool socks. You know how hard it is to find wool socks that aren't hiking socks? It's hard.
I slept in a couple of layers of clothing last night, and that was with me keeping the heat higher than I normally ever would. Brr. I'm afeared of my gas bill.

Our furnace decided to quit yesterday. Cut way back on the gas bill that way! It got fixed by the end of the day though. Kids all have "cold days" instead of snow days. It is too cold to go to school but it isn't too cold to go places with their friends! Stay warm and get a plane ticket...
