Today I filled out my bar application.
And I submitted it.
Yes, go ahead and take a moment to recover. But I should confess that for the Empire State, the bar application takes about 5 minutes to fill out because they ask nothing about your character and fitness. All that comes later, apparently. Also, I still haven't done the handwriting thingy, but I'm not overwhelmingly concerned about that. I took notes by hand last quarter, and seemed to remember how to write, so I think I'm ok there. We can print essays on the bar exam, right? We don't have to write in cursive?
In other news: I'm wrapping up my editing chores. I have double-booked myself for tomorrow night for one tortuous meeting and one fun non-law event. I have skimmed my Evidence reading and steadfastly refused to open my Habeas reading which will, undoubtedly, prove to be an enormous mistake.
One. Quarter. Left. Hallelujah.
You're gonna want to get your character stuff together sooner rather than later though, because the NY section takes forever.
