Still glued to the tv, watching the Olympics. Tonight it's women's bobsledding, a sport I can really relate to. You get in the sled and go like a bat out of h*ll, what's not to love?
And skiing, I'm just a huge fan. It's my favorite sport of all time.
But I have to admit, some of these "sports" make me seriously question the sanity of all involved. That think where they ski straight up into the air off a ramp and spin around and have nothing to prevent them from landing on their heads? That's pure craziness, without even the blast of racing. I don't get it. Do you?
I'll tell you what was most awe-inspiring, though: the Canadian skater's performance last night. To skate so well, just days after her mother died--the ultimate tribute. I've seen some amazing skates, but I don't think I'll ever be able to forget hers. She was the very definition of courage and grace under pressure. Bravo.
Are all your posts starting with F these days?

I guessed they are all F because it is February and next week they will begin with M....for March?

Yes... my own little gimmick for keeping myself entertained. :) It goes back before January.

That was quite the amazing performance, and I just so happened to catch it. I was wondering why she was crying as she skated off the ice.

I agree. Some sport events in Olympics just seem too crazy to be true. You have to be a sportsman to understand the kind of determination that drive them to do stuff like this.
